Santiago Motorizado is a singer, songwriter, producer, and visual artist.As the frontman of El Mató a un Policía Motorizado -one of the most essential Argentine rock bands of the past two decades- he has simultaneously developed a solo path where narrative sensitivity, pop melancholy, and an intimate, cinematic, deeply emotional gaze coexist.
His first solo works were compositions created for audiovisual projects. In 2021, he released Canciones sobre una casa, cuatro amigos y un perro, the original soundtrack for the series Okupas, in which he reimagined classics of Argentine popular culture and contributed new original pieces. That project established his name beyond the band and revealed an authorial voice capable of crafting atmospheres and stories from an unmistakably personal register.
In 2025, he released ElRetorno, his first conceptual solo album, recorded between Buenos Aires and the renowned Sonic Ranch studio in Texas, USA. The album brings together eleven songs written over more than a decade -sketches, intimate ideas, loose melodies- that were reborn in incisive, luminous, and emotionally resonant versions. The lyrics explore his most personal obsessions: film, friendship, mystery, humor, love, and the passage of time.
In September 2025, Santiago premiered El Retorno live with a sold-out show at Teatro Gran Rex, accompanied by his band. The concert marked the beginning of a new artistic chapter, with an expanded sound and a carefully crafted stage design. It also launched an extensive international tour throughout 2025, with performances in the United States, Europe, and Latin America.
