ob's DJ career began at the age of 17 when he discovered house music on his door step in his hometown of Worcester. It was his visits to local clubnight Wet Dream, seeing the likes of Digs and Whoosh, Miles Holloway, Elliot Eastwick and Kerri Chandler that give him an earlier appreciation of the deeper side of house and his persistence bordering on the obsession ensured a residency followed.
Rob then moved to Bournemouth for University and he began a residency at The Old Firestation that lasted several years warming up for the likes of Yousef, Farley & Heller and Danny Rampling. Guest gigs across the South coast followed including the infamous Empire in Bognor Regis.
On relocating to London, Rob turned his hand to promoting, creating Get Diverted which has now become established as one of London's leading daytime parties. Paul Woolford, Funk D'Void and Spencer Parker have all the rocked the finest crowd south of the river. A party that strives to be underground but still accessible, this keeps in tune with Rob's musical ethos, so whether it's deep, it's disco or something tougher it will always be music with soul and with a groove.
