Deeper Purpose AKa Stevie G, was bon and and raised in South London. Growing up ( Stevie ) was always pushed towards learning the art of music by his parents who had him learn to play the keyboard and drums at a young age. They soon realised as he grew up that he was not going to be the musican they had wanted him to be after he got his first set of technics decks for christmas aged just 14. At this stage ( Stevie ) had no idea what he was doing and spent the next 2 years in his bedroom teaching himself to play. At the age of just 16 ( Stevie ) secured his first gig at a local club playing an early chill out slot of soulful house. It was after this that his love for house grew and found a DEEPER PURPOSE in the form of deep house. With his love for solid hard basslines and futuristic elements and sound this was a sign of great things to come. Since then ( Stevie ) has played at some of the best underground clubs in and around London inc, Egg, Cable, Fabric to name a few.
