Since his young teens Andre Ferraz has been obsessed with music, specifically drums, bass guitar and the funk they can cause. Exploring this love through a number of high school bands, the boy went through college in Brazil falling ever more in love with music without knowing about the real world possibilities.
Having been forced to study Architecture and Law by his parents, Ferraz grew ever more occupied with Sao Paulo’s club scene, sneaking out to get a taste of the nocturnal culture in which he is now fully submerged. A few DJ gigs ensued in small bars around the city, and so too did the Brazilian begin promoting the odd party in now sadly extinct clubs like U-Turn and Club K in Sao Paulo. Everyone from Juan Atkins, Frankie Knuckles, Green Velvet, Hernan Cattaneo, and many others appeared at parties Ferraz promoted during the beginning of this millennium.
Since he left South America for the cooler climes of London in 2005, honing his music production techniques has been Ferraz’s obsession.
