Dee MonteroはDJ兼プロデューサーであり、彼の音楽はPeter Tong、Sasha、John Digweed、Kolsch、などの有名なアーティストからサポートを受けている。近年のリリースとしてはHot Since 82のレーベルKnee Deep In Soundからの「Vedra」やSelador Recordsの「Solace」、そして去年の夏にイビザ島で大人気だったNic FancuilliのレーベルSaved Recordsよりの「Full Body」などがある。
彼は1997年にVestaxのDJ大会を優勝し、彼の出身地であるベルファストを代表するNetwork Clubにて初レジデンシーとして、キャリアをスタート。それ以降はベルリンからバリまで世界中を飛び回り、香港を拠点とし、プロモーターとしてJoris Voorn、Nina Kraviz、Greg Wilsonなどの橋渡しをし、アジアのアングラクラブシーンの活性化をに担った。
最近の活動としては、イビサ島サンアントニオの「Café Mambo」でレジデントを勤める。8時間にのぼる超ロングセットで彼のコレクションから厳選し、トリッピーなサンセットグルーブからメロディックなテックハウスまで幅広くディープなプレイで彼の多様性を見せている。

現在、2017年の新しいリリースのためにスタジオで作曲などに勤め、今年の注目を集めるアーティスト一人である。

Dee Montero, an accomplished DJ and producer who’s music has enjoyed support from industry heavyweights including Pete Tong, Sasha, John Digweed and Kolsch. Recent notable releases include ‘Vedra’ on Hot Since 82’s Knee Deep In Sound, ‘Solace’ on Selador recordings and the massive ‘Full Body’ on Nic Fancuilli’s Saved records which was one of Ibiza’s stand-out tracks from last summer.
Dee started his DJ career winning the Vestax mixing championships in 1997 and picking up his first residency at the legendary Network Club in his hometown Belfast. Since then Dee has played over the world from Berlin to Bali and was Hong Kong based for a time where he was instru- mental in pushing the underground club scene bringing over artists such as Joris Voorn, Nina Kraviz and Greg Wilson.
Nowadays his residencies include the legendary Cafe Mambo in Ibiza where he plays marathon 8 hour sets showing his versatility as a DJ digging deep into his collection spinning everything from tripped-out sunset grooves to melodic techno edged house music.
Currently in the studio working on fresh new material for 2017, Dee is a man to watch over the coming months.
