Canadian trance producer Edwin ‘Yelow’ Tsui is a fast rising trance producer based out of Calgary, Alberta. With over a decade of event hosting & club DJing experience, he set his sights on music production in 2017 by co-founding the Soundcation Trance Retreats with Dennis Sheperd.
His first releases in 2020 made an immediate impact on the scene, with releases on Coldharbour and Magic Island, with 2 of his tracks picked up for the 16th edition of the legendary ‘In Search of Sunrise’ compilation. In his inaugural year he also accepted an invitation from Roger Shah himself to manage the Magic Island label in an A&R role.
He is best known for his energetic uplifting style, his producer filled sets full of exclusive reworks, bootlegs. In 2021 he had a break out year with his works with Roger Shah hitting over 4 million streams on Spotify and two of the tracks breaking into the A State of Trance top charts for the end of the year. In 2022, his Bootleg remix of ‘Swing 2 Harmony’ was one the most played track at Luminosity Beach Festival & you can find many of the top uplifting DJs playing out his originals and reworks at top festivals such as Luminosity, Electric Daisy Carnival, Untold and Dreamstate.
