エモーショナル且つベースの利いたハードロックを追いかけた10代、クラブカルチャーに出会い衝撃を受け、すぐさま機材を手にＤＪを始める。手探りで好みの共演者を捜し集め、ＤＪデビューのパーティーを自身でオーガナイズし注目を集めた。ハードコアに留まらずビッグビートやヒーリングミュージックを交えたユニークな選曲で評判を広めていた同時期、ヨーロッパ発のバレアリックなハウスミュージックに魅了され、今で言われるクラブサウンドのＤＪとして様々なパーティーで活動を展開。早熟した技術とプログレッシブハウス・テクノを始め、あらゆるビートを縦横無尽にセレクトするユニークなグルーヴは地元に留まらず大阪にも知れ渡り、当時1000人もの集客を誇る『Queen』（旧Club Joule）のレジデントを２年務めた。平行し関西の30名以上の女性アーティストで構成される『FAMFATAL』（旧venue, UNDERLOUNGE、現venue, GRAND Cafe）に初回より参加、６年目を迎える現在まで主要DJとして所属している。
　また、関西のみならず東京・静岡・徳島・富山・沖縄へのゲスト出演、そして06年FAMFATAL　 Asia tourにて3ヵ国（韓国・タイ・上海）全4公演に出演。後にFAMFATALで上海に再来、単身では香港へのゲスト遠征など、その後も幾度と再招された。
　現在はFAMFATALに加え、神戸で最も注目されている『Diatonik』にレギュラー出演、また国内最大規模の野外フェス『渚音楽祭』（09’大阪）、Ferry Corstenアルバムリリースツアー(GRAND Cafe)、YOJI（Biomehanika）主催レーベル「HELLHOUSE」の10周年とPaul van Dykが今年3枚組みのベストアルバム「Volume」のリリースツアーを同祝した『ULTRAPINPIN』を始め、関西の主要パーティーに出演。

MAMICO has started her DJ activity in 1999.She played with several Japanese and overseas artists such as Monika Kruse, DJ LUCCA, ELECTRIC INDIGO, DJ DAYHOTA, Miss Kittin, Sven Bath, Oliva Ho, Marco V Tara Reynolds, Vinus fly Trap (JP) Anna Tsutiya (JP) SILVA(JP). She is indeed the DJ who can keeps her groove whenever she plays and can shows her strength, energy and rapidness by various selection rooted trip-pop and rock music, mixing house, techno, progressive house, tech house with her stable mix work which gains established reputation. Her groove always drags the audience into the impressive and intoxicating world. As her playing style is expressing the latest sound with unexpected development, her figure is bringing out naked and erotic charm. This gives a solid personality and an essence to her groove. This charm shows not only her music but also her style of "dressed up with music" to advantage, and it cheers up herself as much as the crowd.
