
He began his career in the early 2000s and has performed at major festivals including SUMMER SONIC, UMF Korea, and Nagisa Music Festival, sharing stages with global artists such as Martin Garrix, Astrix, Vini Vici, and Calvin Harris. From 2006 to 2014, he was consecutively ranked in Japan’s leading music magazine LOUD, establishing a solid reputation within the Japanese club scene.
As the producer of the legendary project ALKALOID, O-MAN has played a key role in shaping the fusion of trance and dance culture in Japan. He also explores beyond club boundaries through the live band PRISM MIND with actor Issei Ishida, pushing experimental and cross-disciplinary performance formats.
In recent years, he has deepened his connection with the techno scene, appearing on Berlin’s renowned streaming platform HÖR Berlin. His HÖR OSAKA performance surpassed 63,000 views within one month, an exceptional achievement for a Japan-based local DJ. In 2025, he will also perform at ADE (Amsterdam Dance Event), further accelerating his international presence.
With strong connections to artists worldwide, O-MAN is recognized as a “global club culture connector,” moving fluidly between cities such as Tokyo, Osaka, Seoul, Sydney, Amsterdam, and Berlin.
Beyond DJing, he is actively involved in running a DJ school in collaboration with club JOULE, event production, and sound creation for fashion shows, video, and advertising. Going beyond the role of a DJ, O-MAN stands at the forefront of a new generation of night culture, connecting Japan to the world.
