NICKY ROMERO's special show case was held at ageHa on Friday, February 17th. For this special night, doors opened at 6PM, which allowed fans of all ages to join the party!
First up was SONE-- he opened for the ARENA stage by playing a wide range of tunes from hip-hop to dubstep. Despite the fact that the event started early, SONE was able to set the vibe and keep the crowd on their toes.
While the ARENA stage was warming up, the sub-floor ISLAND also opened with DJ’s spinning loose tempo house and hip-hop tunes.
A special meet and greet booth was set up behind the ARENA stage for exclusive fans that participated in the lottery event. NICKY ROMERO fans were overwhelmed with excitement-- some even brought homemade gifts to express their love and gratitude for him.
Supported by Armada and Protocol, JapaRoLL took on the ARENA stage next. His set consisted of progressive sounds that moved the audience both physically and emotionally.
Finally it was time for the main act-- NICKY ROMERO! He opened with Nicky Romero ft. Eric Lumiere - The Moment (Novell) (Orchestral Intro Edit) and instantly the crowd went wild!
Everybody sang along to his original tracks with no hesitation. The crowd became one when he blended the acapella of Kygo ft. Conrad Swell - Firestone with DubVision - Heart.
Next he played his fans favorites, Nicky Romero vs. Volt & State ft. Danny Shah - Warriors and Avicii & Nicky Romero - I Could Be The One. Following that he played Nicky Romero - Ready 2 Rumble, Nicky Romero & Stadium vs. Gallants - Harmony vs. Runaway (U & I) (Nicky Romero Mashup). ageHa’s top level VJ, lighting and performance art complimented NICKY ROMERO’s performance perfectly and made it a night to remember.
He ended the night with Coldplay & Audien vs. Nicky Romero - Adventure Of A Lighthouse (Fuerte Edit) leaving the crowd in awe.
