I-Marcus a.k.a. Joe Bonnie is a well versed Dancehall DJ who has grown into a powerful, unique and self assured deejay and singer. He is also a successful entrepreneur who is a partner in his own promotion company I-Marcus Productions. His approach reflects the challenges and circumstances of his childhood in Jamaica and his everyday life. In the winter of 2005 Joe Bonnie dubbed I-Marcus by well known Dancehall DJ "Jah Tunda" prodigy of the Fire Man, "Capleton", began working with producer Ras Mason of Rebel Soul Productions, and together they created some of I-Marcus most memorable recordings. Born 18 November in Kingston Jamaica and raised in Spanish Town, Jamaica, he began his career in entertainment in 1976 with his father’s sound system, "Computer Hi Power Sound", gaining a great appreciation for music. I-Marcus honed his vocal skills in the church and school choirs and then entered the secular world.
