Eyal Talmudi -
One of the greatest thing about music in Israel is the clash of cultures, when eastern and western traditions influence each other and blend into something new.
Eyal Talumdi is a perfect example of that. The gifted saxophone player and producer has been part of projects such as the Gypsy funk supergroup Balkan Beat Box, the Yiddish Rock act Oy division, and Mediterranean-Surf group Boom Pam. his latest endeavor, MALOX, is about to release an LP called “Polka for Punks”, and you can guess how that’s going to sound like.
Talmudi also has a Japanese connection - He has been working with Japanese singer Yuki Yamamoto.
