DJ PMX is one of a very few hip hop producers who has been leading the scene in Japan since late 80’s ? ever since Hip Hop was born in Japan. He’s also responsible for establishing “Japanese West Coast Hip Hop” as a member of the world-wide fame, DS455. His highly noted works as a top producer include AK-69, Big Ron, HI-D, Ozrosaurus and Zang Haozi.
He released his long anticipated first solo album, “THE ORIGINAL” in June, 2008, which was and still is highly acclaimed for its all around production works. Many praise him for his incredible sense of discovering and producing new talents likes of Big Ron, Ozrosaurus, and Koz of Tokyo S.T.M.
Out of those splendid produce works, DJ PMX has been releasing 2 CD set mix CD “LocoHAMA CRUISING” series every year, and on Mar 14th 2012, he has a release of “THE CHRONICLE II?Prologue Of THE ORIGINAL?”, a best album also with a teaser to his awaited 2nd original album.”THE ORIGINAL 2” coming out this early summer.
