Amy Dabbs' love of music was almost inevitable, growing up surrounded by the sounds of her old man's LP collection of original motown and disco records that he used to spin himself at Northern Soul clubs. Throughout her teenage years, Amy would regularly travel around the country to some of the UK's most prestigious clubs, from Cream in Liverpool to Turnmills in London. A passion for electronic music was born and by her 18th birthday Amy Dabbs was in possession of her first set of turntables. From there, she moved up to Sheffield to study whilst relentlessly continuing to follow the electronic music scene, building up her vinyl collection and regularly playing out around the city.
It was upon moving back to London 8 years ago that Amy Dabbs really cemented her passion for house music. Inspired by the tracks she would hear at nights such as Buzzin Fly at The End and Type at The Cross, she was constantly seeking to develop and evolve her own music style with fresh deep hou...
