KOHJIRO has composed music for Anna Tsuchiya (A Japanese pop star) and Aira Mitsuki and produces music for television commercials,
while HAIOKA develops electronica projects well regarded by domestic and international DJs and artists,
and has had releases with the Berlin label Emerald & Doreen and has performed live in southeast Asia and Europe.
The KAH was originally active as members of a band called “Bremen",
which has worked with production companies such as Artimage and KSR.
In January 2013, they decided to continually put out one all-new tune each month as The Kah.
A total of 13 songs were released over 12 months on iTunes only, including a remix.
Dance music is approached from a variety of angles, from drum & bass to EDM, techno, disco dub, psy-trance, and chill-out.
It perfectly crosses over between traditional roots and new trends,
earning fans of not only young people but also discerning listeners and international visitors.
They have performed at many large-scale rock festivals, dance festivals, and raves
including Summer Sonic, Nagisa Music Festival, Baycamp, the Hacienda Oiso Festival, and Audio: Tokyo Electronic Music Festival.
At outdoor parties such as SummerSounds and Benci Camp, they closed the festivals with a chill-out set.
As collaborating artists, they have worked with T-Ak, a top Japanese artist for Hospital Records,
and have invited Riku of Logeq-also known as the frontman of Fed Music- to do vocals.
In live performances, they have collaborated with the dance team Meisai, which has performed at the biggest dance festival in Japan "WIRE",
and with the fusion belly dancer Gaya. They always seek to work with abundant talent without being constrained by genres.
In addition, they provided remixes for the official soundtrack of Square Enix's popular game "Secret of Mana"
and for the first mini album of the bass music/rock band The Game Shop.
