Hitting the dj scene at age 16. At the age of 18, DJ NORI began spinning as a resident DJ at one of the highest-profile nightclubs in his country Japan such as GrandCafe where David Guetta, Axwell, DJ Spinna, Ciara, Mario and more have performed. He had worked there for 6 years with the bests around the world. His strongest ability is to play all good music includes Hip Hop, House, Indie, 80’s, Reggae and Latin with his smooth transition. He is always bringing something unique to the DJ scene.
In 2009, Nori moved to New York to broaden up his talent. At first, he knew no one in the U.S.. But
soon, he booked his own gigs at nightclubs such as La Pomme, La Vie, 49 Grove and so on. One day he could get to work with NY's legendary DJ Ani Quinn at every high-profile nightclub, lounge & hotel and venue in New York City. Then he was recognized by them including 1oak, Tenjune, Butter, Ganevoort Park Hotel, Greenhouse, Hudson Terrace and so on. He has also shared turntables with Stretch Armstrong etc...
In fashion districts like Soho, stores such as Adidas have recognized his unique talents. He also has been making MixCDs. They have been top sellers in Japanese CD stores.
His mixes have also been featured on Shade45 Radio which is Eminem's Uncensored Hip-Hop/Rap Urban Contemporary Station.
He also produces background music of clothing stores in Shibuya109 Tokyo.
Nori recently returned his DJ tour starting from NYC to Honolulu, Seoul, Tokyo and all around Japan.
He is definitely the DJ on the rise to watch!
