Rave is…
A style of partying. Huge sound systems are set up in warehouses and outdoors, party animals dance to the ground shaking beats all night long. Raving gained massive support from the kids and the culture spread around the world rapidly.

The styles of music played in raves started off with Acid House and Techno in the late 80s. In the early 90s, as kids demanded more stimulating sounds, Hardcore Techno with faster beats and uplifting melodies was born.

As years went by, rave music influenced and was influenced by different styles of music, and various genres such as Drum’n’bass, 2-step (UK Garage), and Dubstep were born. Although these styles sound different from each other, they all have Rave Music as their root.

The theme of this party is “Rave Music”. We’ve booked awesome DJs from all over the Tokyo club scene, asked them to express their “Rave Music”.

This party is also the opening party for the members-only Laidback Caf? located in a hidden location in the Tokyo area, and we’ll have free food!! Come taste the mouth-watering Be-wave curry and various other menus!
