March’s push.. is going to be one for the history books. Spring is in the air, it’s time to come out of hibernation and warm things up! As Shonan starts to blossom, we are bringing not one, but TWO fantastic DJs to Fujisawa for your aural pleasure. KENJI TAKIMI is nothing short of a legend in the Japanese dance music world; a superb DJ who never fails to heat up the dancefloor with his unique blend of underground & leftfield disco, house, funk and much more. Do not miss this chance to see a 2-hour set from this internationally-respected DJ, producer and label boss as we welcome him to push.. for the first time. Joining him is our good friend TSUYOSHI KOSUGA from the awesome space-jazz dance music jam trio, Cro-magnon, who has DJed and played live at push.. for us in the past, and never fails to spread his passion for good music to a crowd. Expect a wide range of grooves from dance music, past and present.

Kenji Takimi is a true pioneer of the leftfield & alternative disco and dance music scene, internationally and in Japan, where he continues to steer and influence the underground music world through his DJing and his label, Crue-L Records, which has been releasing cutting-edge music for nearly 22 years. As a respected DJ and producer, he has released 2 mix CDs, numerous remixes for artists such as Cornelius, Cut Copy, Phil Manzanera, Boris, Hiroshi Fujiwara, Sebastian Tellier and many more. His own productions as Crue-L Grand Orchestra and Luger E-Go have gained him respect and a following worldwide, and resulted in international appearances at Electric Elephant festival in Croatia in 2009, Horse Meat Disco in London, Bad Passion, ://about blank in Berlin, among others. His guest mix on the infamous Beats In Space radio show in New York was rated as the most-listened to mix in 2012, and his new project ‘Being Borings’ released two acclaimed 12”s (Love House Of Love & E-Girls On B-Movie) and a debut album, ‘Esprit’. Numerous productions and edits released on other labels, along with tours of Australia and Europe have kept Kenji busy and led him into 2013, with tours of the UK and Australia already confirmed.

Ever-evolving, ever-deepening, the musical world of Tsuyoshi Kosuga is mostly taken up with playing bass and guitar with the space-jazz / live dance music trio, Cro-magnon. He can sometimes be found playing records, however, as his alter-ego, Guilty OD – moving and grooving the dancefloor with a range of his influences, from funk and jazz to house, hip-hop and more. ‘DJ sometimes, music always, make you smile.’　After DJing once before at push.. and performing live with Cro-magnon for our 5th anniversary party, we are very happy to welcome Tsuyoshi back to Shonan again! Get on the dancefloor and let him make you smile!
