TOM STAAR is virtually impossible to book, but he’s returning to Japan!

The newly-renovated WOMB is back and better than ever, and we’re introducing a new party titled LEVEL NINE. Residents will include TAI IKEZAWA (also active in REVAMP), NAOTO TAKAOKA, and NARIYUKI OMOTO, all the way from Sapporo.

2014 was a transformative year for EDM, and after creating a huge stir at the BIG ROOM EDM festival, in an atmosphere yearning for more “house”-style music, TOM STAAR teamed up with his buddy KRYDER and suddenly emerged as the freshest and most popular producer around.

Who knows how far he’ll go?

He played a hand in the remix of ARMIN VAN BUUREN’s “PING PONG,” which had a huge influence in 2014. At the same time he was supported by a number of big names during the remix of ARNO KOST and NORMAN DRAY’S APOCALYPSE, which was released during the same period. After that we saw KINGDOM, TOTEM, JERICHO, WIDE AWAKE, BORA, HIGHER, and more each reach the top 10 in Beatport, the world’s largest electronic music streaming site.

Recently his unusual collaboration with KNIFE PARTY on KRAKEN is still fresh in our minds. As one of the driving forces behind the new genre called “TRAIN HOUSE” (said to be the child of HOUSE and EDM), he is currently popular beyond measure, performing at TOMORROWLAND, the world’s largest festival, as well as Japan’s familiar ULTRA MUSIC FESTIVAL, and Miami, the source of it all, and with his ability to satisfy crowds in the tens of thousands he continues to rock audiences with his LIVE SET.

Beginning with HARDBALL, DAVID GUETTA, AXWELL (formerly of SWEDISH HOUSE MAFIA), STEVE ANGELLO, and SEBASTIAN INGROSSO, together with top artists who boast explosive popularity even in Japan such as ALESSO and AFROJACK, the Japanese tour of these pioneers of this new genre is sure to make for a night to remember!
