Mind Off is back again at Vent with experimental, modern techno artist Kangding Ray on November 17.


He has releases on labels such as RASTER-NOTON and LUCY’S, STROBOSCOPIC ARTEFACTS, and appears at some of the best underground festivals in the world including Labyrinth.


Recently his sound has morphed into a form of organic Techno which explores the tension between the natural and artificial as well as the body and mind. The theme of Mind Off fits in perfectly with this same concept which is why we are so excited to showcase this artist.


Kangding Ray used to be an architect by profession which is why it is really easy to tell why the production in is tracks is constructed so meticulously. He is a sound architect who has no boundaries in his creation and building of music. Even in his recent work with techno we can still hear and feel his avant-garde style overlapped with something strong beautiful and functionally powerful.


He is joined in the Main Room by Fragmentor (Ribbon Recordings, Follow The Flow) who has been delivering relentless sets at Mind Off as well as Dani Savant’s mesmerizing sounds and Bun Saito who’s debut for this part will bring a slick and stylish sound to the Mind Off dance floor.
