On March 23rd (Sat.), 2019, "Qucon"—a new facility rooted in skateboarding—will open in the Toranomon area of Minato Ward, Tokyo. As well as being a place to enjoy both indoor and outdoor skateboarding, it will become a beacon of art, design, and street culture.
The excitement brought about by the high-profile opening of such a talked-about location will be carried over late into the night at the opening's after-party, "Qucon," held at Shibuya WOMB. The line-up will feature legend DJs and big figures in the Japan club scene, CAPTAIN VINYL (DJ NORI + MURO) and DJ EMMA, as well as CHIBA, a DJ who has been shining bright overseas at Berlin's PANORAMA BAR among other venues. VJ MANAMI (SYMBIOSIS Inc), who has been working on imagery for Qucon, as well as YAMARCHY (DISKO KLUBB) will also be performing.
At the VIP LOUNGE produced by Qucon, pro skater Shinpei Ueno from the planning and management team,
YO.AN (JOLE AND HOLLAND), model Sayo Yoshida, as well as a secret guest, will all be appearing.
On top of that, Masahiro Tsuchiya (Rainbow Disco Club) will be organizing the WOMB LOUNGE featuring DJ KENT (FORCE OF NATURE), TIMOTHY REALLY, and KIKIORIX. What's more, the sale of Qucon goods is planned, and all the floors will be packed full of exciting content. We'll be awaiting your arrival.
