アムステルダムを拠点とするアーティストshoalがCircus Osakaで初となるDJ Setで登場。
彼のプレイスタイルは、ディープ、サイケデリック、アンビエント、ダンステイストな要素を全て含み、そのリズムパターンはまさに瞑想をしているかのような感覚をもたらす。
Harmony Recordings、Konstrukt、LET Recordings、Oblique Musicなどの様々な名門レーベルからトラックを発表している。また、世界的にも有名なノルウェーのMonument Festivalなどに出演し、世界中のダンスミュージックファンから注目を集めている。



Shoal

Whether Shoal plays with records or performs live, he continuously challenges himself on a creative level. Never repeating itself, each set is a winding river of emotions transcribed into music, a guided journey of Shoal’s experiences and sonic landscapes.
His first solo live set was at ISOTOOP’s Sunday Ambient sessions curated by Van Anh. Shortly after that, the friendship grew quickly and he joined the collective. As a collective, they have
been on numerous journeys. From raving nights to all-night ambient sessions, to a one-off utopian festival in the Moroccan desert in collaboration with local label Tikita.
As part of the ISOTOOP collective, the Utrecht-based producer aims for the body and mind: Enriched with hypnotic rhythm patterns, field recordings, drones, and textures, his distinctive take on sound design is on display across a variety of labels such as Harmony Recordings, Konstrukt, LET Recordings, and Oblique Music.
