Ableton Meetup Tokyo, established in October 2015 with the mission of “lasting at least ten years,” has served as a place for music makers to connect, share, and grow together. We are proud to announce the 10th Anniversary Meetup, commemorating the achievement of this long-standing goal.

This special edition of AMT will feature internationally recognized techno DJ and producer DJ SODEYAMA, who will present “Three Elements of the Low End and Groove.” His session will explore essential techniques for crafting impactful low frequencies, focusing on kick, bass, and sub-bass design.

Also joining is acclaimed live artist and producer Sakura Tsuruta, a frequent contributor to AMT. She will deliver a presentation titled “Generating Surprise Harmonies with MIDI Tools,” demonstrating creative methods for building chord progressions using the latest MIDI features in Ableton Live 12.

In addition, a special anniversary program, the Ableton Jam Circle, will be presented. Led by Ableton Certified Trainer Satoshi Moriya, four certified trainers will collaboratively produce a single track in a relay format. This unique session will offer attendees a rare glimpse into experimental, rapid co-writing with Ableton Live.

This milestone would not have been possible without the continued support of our community, attendees, and partners.
