With big-name guests like JAY-Z, Taylor Swift, BIG BANG, Nada Surf, Anna Tsuchiya, Eikichi Yazawa, THE OFFSPRING, Steve Aoki and Stevie Wonder on the lineup, this year’s SUMMER SONIC is set to be the biggest ever. It’s happening in Tokyo and Osaka on August 7 and 8. After both Fuji Rock and SUMMER SONIC are over, we'll still be partying! The Young Punx! is comprised of two UK dance music producers, Hal Ritson and Cameron Saunders.
They are proponents of an anarchic mashup sound that fuses rock, house, break beats and drum 'n' bass, with a big dose of humor. From throwing in cheesy electric guitar riffs to dressing up in costumes, they always have a surprise in store when they perform. Their mix CD "Bondi Beach New Years Eve '06" features the original track "Young and Beautiful". They have done remixes for major artists on labels like Ministry of Sound, Sony and EMI, all of which have hit the top 10 in the UK club charts, and were voted Best Bootleg Remixer by listeners of BBC Radio One, the UK's top music radio station.
