Mai made her debut with the song, “Love, Day after Tomorrow” and she became one of the most famous singers in Japan by selling over a million copies.
She has broken sales records by selling more than 20 million copies and all of her 42 singles have been ranked in the ORICON top 10. Mai still holds first place in Japan for sales as a solo artist.
Her first single collection “Mai Kuraki Single Collection 〜Chance for you〜” was released to celebrate the 20th anniversary of her debut in December 2019.
