
As a long-standing resident of "REBOOT," Tokyo’s longest-running techno party, and co-organizer of "BUZZ×3" alongside ATT, TAKAMI has maintained a steady and reliable presence in the industry. Known for his signature style of utilizing three or more decks, he delivers high-energy, funky techno sets that seamlessly blend technical precision with a deep intuition for the dance floor. His rock-solid groove and versatility have earned him widespread respect from both audiences and fellow professionals alike.
TAKAMI’s exceptional skills have led to numerous opportunities to share the stage with international icons, including Charlotte De Witte, Amelie Lens, The Advent, Christian Smith, Hardfloor, Marco Bailey, Filter Heads, Cristian Varela, and Sian. His enduring popularity is further evidenced by his consistent ranking in the "DJ 50/50" poll by the legendary Japanese magazine LOUD for many consecutive years starting in 2006.
His production career is equally distinguished. His debut release, AGAINST THE OVERDRIVE E.P. (MOON AGE RECORDINGS, 2002), received a perfect five-star review from the German magazine Raveline, garnering international attention. Since then, he has released numerous tracks and remixes on various labels, including Akihabara Heavy Industry, continuously showcasing his original sound.
Since 2012, TAKAMI has also served as the main MC for "radio REBOOT" on block.fm, Japan’s premier dance music radio station. Through this platform, he continues to support the scene by introducing the latest techno sounds to a broad audience. Combining thirty years of experience with a relentless passion for electronic music, TAKAMI remains a vital presence and a true professional in the Japanese dance music community.
