新年第2弾パーティにテクノシーンの第一人者田中フミヤが帰還

AIR2015年の第2弾パーティは、今年8月に久しぶりに登場し、流石といえる圧巻のプレイを見せつけた田中フミヤを迎える。DJ／トラックメイカーとして20年以上のキャリアを誇り、現在もジャパニーズテクノシーンの最前線に立ち続ける孤高のアーティスト。フロアに直結したシンプルなグルーヴを好む姿勢は変わらないものの、近年の彼の作品や選曲は、かつてKarafuto、Individual Orchestra等の名義でトライした実験的音楽やハウスへの傾倒が再び見られ、さらなる音楽性の拡がりを見せている。dj masda、DEN、KABUTOとともに織りなすグルーヴに身を委ねよ。

For our 2nd AIR2015 party, we’re proud to welcome a true master-performer, Fumiya Tanaka, for the first time since August 2014. Boasting a 20-year+ career as a DJ / track maker, this exceptional artist is still on the forefront of the Japanese techno scene. While his tendency to favor simple grooves in direct connection with the dance floor has not changed an inch, he has definitely widened the scope of his musicality, while also renewing his commitment to both experimental and house music, be it through his tune selection or personal work (for which he is also known under names such as Karafuto or Individual Orchestra). On this special evening, Fumiya will be devoting himself to interweaving subtle grooves with dj masda, DEN, and KABUTO.

2010年からベルリンへと拠点を移し、Panorama Barや世界各国のパーティ、フェスにて活躍。レーベルSundanceを制作活動の中心軸としつつ、RADIQこと半野喜弘とともにop.discを運営。Torema Recordsも20周年を迎え、Unknown Possibilityシリーズの最新作であり完結編となる「Vol. 3-3」とコンピレーションアルバム「20th」を発表。Perlonからも12インチをリリース。また、盟友であるThomas Melchior aka　Melchior ProductionsとユニットTofu Productionsを結成し、楽曲、リミックスを発表するなど精力的に活動中。
