『Dos Monosが組曲「だんでぃどん feat. 筒井康隆」のリスニング・パーティーを緊急開催!』

Black Midiとのヨーロッパ・ツアー発表や、国内外のフェスへの出演などで話題に事欠かないヒップホップユニット Dos Monosが20分を超える組曲アルバム「だんでぃどん feat. 筒井康隆」の先行リスニング・パーティを開催することを発表した。
7月にリリース情報を発表した「だんでぃどん feat. 筒井康隆」はCDのみに全編を収録するといった内容で、既にCD盤は初回予約分がソールドアウト。現在は冒頭の5分のみを公開したDos Monosの公式YouTubeチャンネルの動画で、その一端を確認できるのみの状態となっているが、その内容はジャズやクラシックをはじめとした様々な素材でサンプリングされた特異なビートと、Dos Monosのラップや筒井康隆本人による朗読が共存した、全編への興味をそそる異色さを垣間見せている。
今回、リスニング・パーティーを開催するのは、9月に惜しまれつつも閉店が決まっている渋谷のクラブContact TokyoのメインフロアStudio X。当日は「だんでぃどん」全編のDJプレイに加え、Dos Monosの3人による貴重なDJセットや、Dos Monosの全楽曲のトラックを手がける荘子itによるビートライヴによって構成されており、通常のDos Monosグッズ販売だけでなく、当日からの先行販売グッズや東京では初となるグッズの販売も予定されている。

「Dos Monos presents the listening party「だんでぃどん feat. 筒井康隆」」

Dos Monos, the hip hop unit who's been playing at festivals that announced their Europe Tour with Black Midi, presents the listening party of their album「だんでぃどん feat. 筒井康隆 (Yasutaka Tsutsui)」, a suite that spans over 20 minutes.
The CD version of「だんでぃどん feat. 筒井康隆」, in which the entire story has been recorded from start to finish only for CD, has sold out after announcing the initial pre-order sale in July. At the current moment, the first 5 minutes of the work has been released to the public on the official YouTube channel of Dos Monos. Although it's only a glimpse into the 20+ minute story, Dos Monos' rap and readings by Yasutaka Tsutsui himself are layered over a unique beat with samplings of various materials including Jazz and Classical.
This listening party will take place in the main floor Studio X of Contact Tokyo, scheduled to close in September. Along with the full version of「だんでぃどん feat. 筒井康隆」, 3 members of Dos Monos will also be playing a valuable DJ set, a beat live by 荘子it (Zo Zhit), who produces all the tracks for Dos Monos, and the sale of Dos Monos merch, including pre-sale goods to be sold for the first time in Tokyo, has been scheduled for this day.
