Davy is a french artist born in Besancon and now living in Tokyo. At the age of 6 he got
into a school music cursus. At 8 years old he started to learn classical guitar with a Peruvian
master, Jesus Castro-Balbi. He quickly started his own bands as Da Fonk System, Ca.
From his local notoriety he got sollicitations to play and arrange for recordings, lives for Squeegee,
Djam & Fam, Jimmy Cli (Ricard Live Music Tour 1998). At the end of 90s, he signed with Florent Prabel
a major contract with Polygram & Mercury. Right away together they found their own label-
Tubbe Entertainment. By the mid-90s he also started to deejay from his hometown area to
Paris (Palais de Tokyo, La Mezzanine de l’Alcazar, Le Divan du Monde etc.) and Tokyo.
In 2001 he slided .behind the stage. to become the key man artistic director for Pschent Music and its
2-millions-seller compilations series .Hotel Costes by Stephane Pompougnac..
Meanwhile he composed 5 albums for Axs Music in Paris under the name of Baeckler.
He has produced remixes for several indies and major artists. With Jean Moncaut in 2005
Davy founded a new label- Only Music in paralell of Pschent Music which the main activity is production
of original music for screens and sound design. He has composed several opening themes
for tv program. That time they produced more than 10 premium compilations for the famous
brand Hugo Boss, France. In 2006 one of his track- I Could Be More Happy, was used for a Japanese TV ad.
This track successfully got a buzz in Japan and logically invited him to released his debut album
.Smiling Machine. (AstroMusic & King Records).
Today the music catalogue of Only Music counts more than 400 tracks.
