2012 was a successful year for Route 1, but 2013 has started to look a lot more promising already for the boys (Sam James & CraftyCole, both 19). With their individual tracks being signed and accessible on Beatport to supporting huge names such as Calvin Harris, Mark Knight, Chuckie, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike and Deniz Koyu to name but a few, at venues such as Ministry of Sound and the o2 in Brixton; the ElectronicSessions residents are on the up. Best known for playing hard hitting cum emotional ‘hands in the air’ progressive house, Route 1 specially prepare personal edits and bootlegs of tracks before every set they play to ensure that their sound is unique and innovative, as well as performing live mash ups on the spot.
