Extended Play’s Timmy ‘T-Bone’ Stewart has had an illustrious career in house music, from not-so-humble beginnings receiving his first break, warming up for Carl Cox at the seminal ‘Kelly’s’ in his homeland of Northern Ireland. Enthused by this early headstart, Timmy went on to secure a residency at David Holmes’ influential Arts College parties, developing a following for his extensive knowledge of house and techno.
It was this early scholarship in house music that laid roots to Timmy’s future house music endeavours, setting up similarly popular Belfast parties, Digital Boogie, Tsunami and Islandhopper, cementing Timmy’s position as a key player in the Belfast club scene . Timmy’s following did not go unnoticed, and he went on to become the resident and in-house booker for the legendary Shine at the Mandela Hall, and its sister venue, The Stiff Kitten; a position held for five years.
Timmy’s residency at Shine became a platform for Jet Project, the collaboration between Timmy and JMX (20:20 Vision), with whom he would later found house imprint, Extended Play.
