Dj Jeff Brown Producer/DJ, Born and raised in Bed-Stuy Brooklyn N.Y
In the Mid 80's Jeff started his Dj Career thanks to a close family friend and mentor Serge Becker who gave him his opportunity as a Dj in New York's downtown thriving music scene. Spinning Soul,Jazz, Funk,Hip Hop and Garage Classics at some of N.Y's well known Clubs such as Sticky Mike's Frog Bar,The Palladium,Canal Bar,Buddha Bar,Lot 61 and the list goes on.
Jeff then decided to make a move to the east,Tokyo Japan where he studied the art of digging for Rare Grooves and working,Producing along side some of Japans hottest Dj's and Producers... UFO, S-Ken, Monday Michiru,Paul jackson,Mondo Grosso and many more.
Working with S-Ken gave him his first shot at producing working on the Jazz Hip Jap Project with a track called "747 Party In The Sky" where he payed respect to all the great DJ's in the sky that had passed on.
After returning to N.y Jeff hooked up with a old friend he met Digging for Grooves in Japan...The King of Digging Kenny Dope of Maters at Work who gave him his first MPC 60. Jeff continued to broaden his Musical ear by hitting up NY's Infamous Record Convention "The Roosevelt"... who was there? Ever...
