Tanaka began his DJ career in the late ‘90s. He lived in London from 2001-2004 and earned his stripes at various clubs. After returning to Japan, he developed a unique style in the drum ‘n’ bass scene, earning major props for his techniques and supreme pitch control while using four decks. He started d’n’b label fragrance records in 2011 and is one of the nation’s foremost proponents of the genre.
