JOLT Arts Inc. is a leading Australia-based sonic arts organization that aims to remove barriers to deeper sound experiences, and in doing so, to reward adventurous listeners. Following up on the success of the breakthrough International Sonic Festival in Switzerland (November 2011), JOLT is coming to Japan with the EXTREMITIES International Sonic Festival and Tour. Offering a challenging program of both sonic and visual arts, EXTREMITIES begins with a three day festival at Tokyo’s SuperDeluxe (Sept. 21-23), followed by a tour of Western japan through Nagoya (K.D Japon, Sept. 26), Osaka (Namba Bears, Sept. 27) and Kyoto (UrbanGuild, Sept. 28), where they will be joined by an exceptional line-up of local artists.
