James Ruskin laid the foundation for the UK techno sound with his Blueprint label back in the ‘90s, and have been spearheading the genre. In recent years, Berghain has been focusing on UK techno veterans. The club’s residents such as Ben Klock and Marcel Dettmann playing Ruskin’s old and new productions has brought a new light to his career.

Ruskin’s early productions are still sought after by many DJs, and his signature minimal sound has influenced producers of all generations. The Tokyo-based producer, Wata Igarashi, share the same taste for psychedelic sounds and deep grooves with a twist of modern techno. His productions have been released on various labels.
