In 2021, in Tokyo's Shibuya and Dogenzaka, a new dawn for club culture began with the launch of the label/event, Alien Sex Friends. They have been aiming to redefine what exceptional parties are, composing with the absolute minimum number of players truly necessary. Their A.S.F. event series at WOMB expands on their vision, and October 4th marks the second episode dedicated to innovative, high-energy club experiences.

On the 2F main floor, A.S.F. will expand and explore the dark, pleasurable dance music they've expressed into a new space. This night, Kabuto will be joining resident DJs P-yan and Ryokei to pilot the dance floor. Lair, started by Kabuto at Grassroots in Higashi-Koenji in the late 2000s, continues today as a long-running party where people of diverse genres and ages can enjoy an intimate atmosphere. Since 2016, he has also organized DAZE OF PHAZE. This provides an opportunity for more international and forward-thinking DJ bookings on a larger dance floor. Kabuto, who presents cutting-edge sensibilities to Tokyo's dedicated clubbers, is currently one of the busiest DJs in the city. He's already playing across the globe in 2025, primarily in the EU and the US. His hybrid sound—blending Detroit's urban and spacey vibes, manic and dry minimal techno/deep house, and tough Uruguayan techno—shakes WOMB to its core as dancers stomp along. Essential to the sound design is Ryosuke Tsuchiya, while REALROCKDESIGN, the key man for production, also showcases his skills.

On the fourth floor, attendees can anticipate a distinctive club music experience characterized by repetitive structures and immersive effects. G, who captivated the audience at the previous A.S.F. event, returns for this installment. He has curated events such as RICE at Nagoya's renowned club Mago, featuring artists including Zip and Daniel Bell. G is highly regarded by pioneers of minimal house for his exceptional music selection. Yamarchy will join G for their first collaborative performance, promising a set that spans diverse genres and eras. Wear well-broken-in shoes, or you will be checkmated.

On the first floor, DJs will craft intricate textures and rhythms, cultivating an environment that evokes a sense of immersive chaos. ZUNDOKO DISCO, the duo comprising BOW and SISINOBU, developed their expertise at venues such as Shaft in Sendai and across the Tohoku region. They now demonstrate their skills at clubs and festivals both within Japan and internationally. Their ability to blend complex techno with dub-influenced bass music results in innovative and engaging performances. Akie, whose reputation has grown through appearances at events like EXPO at Grassroots in Higashi-Koenji and other national venues, will present her distinctive vinyl collection. Her expertise, refined through participation in Japan's most prominent parties and informed by experience at Newtone Records, distinguishes their performances. This event offers a singular musical experience.
