CURRENTS is a DJ party launched in Osaka in 2019, built around new releases and a broad, genre-crossing sense of pop music.

Moving freely between mainstream, indie and underground sounds, the selections span pop, indie rock, electronic, dance music, hip-hop, R&B and folk.

The party takes place at Alffo Records, a record shop and bar in Shinmachi, Osaka. Surrounded by new and used records, it is a place where music lovers can gather naturally, listen closely and spend the evening at their own pace.
