It’s been 12 years since Takashi Kumagai started men's fashion brand GDC. In February this year the brand opened a new store in Daikanyama, which featured a glass mosaic by Italian firm SICIS and a Tom Dixon Lightweight lamp in its stunning interior. This avidly followed brand is sure to bring out some fanatical followers to Le Baron de Paris, so be prepared for some madcap antics. Besides Mr. Kumagai himself, there is also a DJ set from Shinichi Osawa to look forward to!!

SHINICHI OSAWA
Shinichi Osawa is a composer, DJ, musician and producer. Whilst releasing innovative tunes with MONDO GROSSO and as SHINICHI OSAWA, he has created countless producing and remix works for both Japanese and international artists. As a composer and producer, Osawa has worked with Japanese artists of the upcoming generation like Namie Amuro and Emi Tawada, and generated many hit sounds. As a remixer, he provides club hits that exceed the original for international artist like Digitalism and Felix Da Housecat. Osawa describes himself as Musical Multi Personality.

Van Cliffe.D(ELLI-ROSE)
Londoner Elli-Rose is a regular fixture in fashion magazines like ViVi, appears in the Tokyo Girls Collection, presents the show STUDIO XL on Space Shower TV and appears on Fuji TV’s Football CX. She has found time during her busy schedule to hone her DJ skills. She started out at the party "Young Lovers" and later teamed up with model Diego to form DJ unit Van Cliffe.D. She began playing solo under the moniker Van Cliffe D. (ELLI-ROSE) in the spring of 2009 and in the summer of the same year she released a mix CD on Universal. Her deep and powerful sound fuses progressive house, techno and minimal.

DJ DAIKI has skills. Just ask the crowds that gather to hear him play at WAREHOUSE702, MADO LOUNGE, axxcis and elsewhere. He uses special effects to give a live feel to cutting edge house music and never fails to get the floor moving. He also operates as a party organizer, with over 500 events under his belt.

TAKAHIRO MIYAJIMA
A freelance stylist since 1996, Miyajima's work appears in magazines such as Rock'in on, smart, MEN'S NON-NO, BOON,　sense,　SWITCH, etc. He has styled musicians including Eikichi Yazawa, Dragon Ash, Blanky Jet City, SBK, SOPHIA,　Yellow Monkey, Masayoshi Yamazaki, Mr, Children, LOVE PSYCHEDELICO, NOKKO, TRICERATOPS, TOKIO, V6, Arashi, DA-PUMP, Naohito Fujiki, Mika Nakashima and Takako Uehara. His also styles celebrities like Shinji Takeda, Ryuhei Matsuda,　Kuroudo Maki and Satoshi Tsumabuki, and has commercial clients including TOWER RECORDS, SONY, Panasonic, MTV Japan, Levi’s, Olympus, SEIKO and HITACHI.

TAKASHI KUMAGAI
Born in 1970. Began his stylist-career in 1994 after studying in Paris. In 1998, started working as a photographer and established his own label GDC. Apart from working in advertising and magazines, he has been working as a director in various genre including branding for fashion labels such as QUIKSILVER CULTURE, VOT and the direction of shop interiors. He is also a creative and interior director of ADAM ET ROPE WILD LIFE TAILOR" and "Adam et Rope' Biotop" which opened this spring.
