Lead by front man Joseph Mount who is also known for his remix work for the likes of Gorillaz, Franz Ferdinand, Klaxons, Lady Gaga to name a few, Metronomy is a 5 piece electro pop band based in the UK. Their 2008 major debut album "Nights Out" was highly received and brought them to stardom. In May 2019, the band suddenly released single "Lately" which features Joseph's Prince-esque falsetto, iconic synth pop sounds as well as edgy beats, making it one of the summer anthems of 2019. Their latest album "Metronomy Forever" humongous 17 track album (with additional two in Japanese edition) is dropping 13th September and finally this fall the band is back in Japan for the first time in 5 years!!
