2004年にオープンしたBerghain / Panorama Barに、2006年より現在まで定期的に出演。ヨーロッパ・アジア・オーストラリア・北米・中米・南米、世界各地へのツアーをコンスタントに行い、SXSW (South by Southwest), Mutek, Time Warp 等々の世界的ビッグ・フェスでプレイ。80タイトル以上をリリースし、数々の名作を世に送り出してきた名門レーベルMacroの運営やベストセラーとなった書籍 "Presets – Digital Shortcuts To Sound"の出版、さらにベルリン・フィルハーモニーでStormフェスティバルをキュレートするなど、常に精力的に活動をワールドワイドに展開する奇才アーティスト/DJ・Stefan Goldmannが、再びCompufunk Recordsでプレイします！

Stefan Goldmann—the state of the art DJ/artist who has been playing regularly at Berghain/Panorama Bar since 2006—returns to Compufunk Records! His dynamic global career includes constant touring across Europe, Asia, Australia, and the Americas, as well as performances at major international festivals such as SXSW, Mutek, and Time Warp. Beyond the DJ booth, he runs the prestigious label Macro (responsible for over 80 releases and many masterpieces), authored the best-selling book *Presets – Digital Shortcuts To Sound*, and even curated the Storm Festival at the Berlin Philharmonic. ステファン・ゴ－ルドマンは、現在のテクノ界で最も大胆に音楽を探究するアーティストの 1 人として常に評価されており、彼の DJセットは、主宰レーベル"Macro"にも適用されている最先端の原則に基づいて進化し続けている。現在までに、SXSW (South by Southwest)、Mutek、Time Warp 等々、主要なフェスティバルに出演しており、ヨーロッパ、アジア、オーストラリア、アメリカ大陸を定期的にツアーしている。

2006年からBerghainで定期的にプレイしているが、特にここ数年、日曜日のメイン・フロアでくりひろげられる彼のプレイは、Berghainでよく知られた定番となっており、そのサウンドは強烈でありながら、おそらく現在、Berghainで聴くことができる最も多様・多彩なミュージック・ジャーニーというべき時間帯を作り出している。そして、Berghainのマンスリー・プログラムに影響力のあるコラムを執筆し、そこから着想した「Electroacoustic Salon」イベント・シリーズを創設した。

テクノの実験的可能性への関心は、彼の才能をクラブの領域をはるかに超えた芸術的領域へと導くことになった。それは、映画のサウンドトラック作品をはじめとして、アンサンブル、コリオグラファー、ビジュアル アーティストとのコラボレーションなど多岐にわたっている。そして、ベストセラーとなった書籍 "Presets – Digital Shortcuts To Sound" は、彼のダンス トラックと同様に彼の生み出した作品の中で不可欠なものとなっている。これまでの数多くの特別プロジェクトのなかには、京都の法然院、ロサンゼルスのLACMA博物館、ブエノスアイレスのCCKセンターなどの歴史的伝統のある会場での完売となったソロ・パフォーマンスが含まれている。

2020年以来、彼はベルリン・フィルハーモニーで "Strom Festival" をキュレートしている。現代のエレクトロニック・ミュージック界を代表する卓越したアーティストたちを招聘し、実験的な音響・映像から激しいピークタイム的なものまでをまとまった1つのヴィジョンとして提示している。


Stefan Goldmann is consistently characterized as one of today’s most adventurous artists in techno. His DJ sets evolve around the same cutting edge principles as applied to his label Macro. He has performed at
leading festivals including SXSW, Mutek and Time Warp, and tours regularly throughout Europe, Asia and the Americas. Since 2006 he has been playing at Berlin's Berghain, where his Sunday main floor sessions have become legendary rituals. For the club he also conceived the 'Elektroakustischer Salon' events series.

This interest in the extended possibilities of techno saw him develop an artistic reach well beyond clubland: Works for film, collaborations with ensembles, choreographers and visual artists as well as a best-selling book are as integral to his vision as his dance tracks. His numerous special projects include sold-out solo performances at iconic venues such as Kyoto’s Honen-In Temple, the LACMA museum of Los Angeles and the CCK center in Buenos Aires.

Since 2020 he curates Strom Festival for the Berlin Philharmonic, where he presents a unified vision ranging from audiovisual experiments to banging peak time action, delivered by some of today's most accomplished artists in electronic music.
